By relying on human interaction to ensure that the matches between content and categorization are accurate, Surfwall gives you the peace of mind that non-work related surfing is completely controlled by the acceptable usage policy. Surfwall is incorporated into Omniquad's Enterprise Manager system, which is a complete network managing and monitoring solution. This Enterprise edition is aimed at the networked environment: web access policies are managed centrally and can be based on user or computer groups, with or without proxy server on your network. The download also includes 2 other modules: Desktop Surveillance for activity monitoring and Remote Control. Enterprise Manager is loaded on an assigned server (NT, WIN2000) and will then search for available computers in a network finding which users are on each machine. With an interface you can group these computers into manageable sub-sections and then activate a download of the Enterprise Manager client on to each desktop from one location. The network can then be centrally managed.
